What is the analog input bandwidth of the USB-6009 for undersampling RF?

We would like to know the intrinsic input bandwidth of the USB-6009.  This is for a RF undersampling application and would like to know what our IF frequency can be.

Thanks

Hi,

The USB-6009 is not a card intended for IF signal generation, is a low cost data acquisition device wwith a very limited sampling rate. Bandwidth is not a specification since this card was not intended for this kind of application. But if you take a look at the: “USB-6009 Guide Specifications” page 2 specs the maximum sampling rate is 48 KS/s (aggregated), if we take a look at Nyquist Fs=2*f, you should be able to generate a 24 KHz signal.

But a good point to remember is that this will only yield the frequency characteristics of a signal. As a rule of thumb for plotting proposes is better to have at least 10 harmonics.

I hope it helps
