Hi Anthony,
If you look at the specifications for the NI-625X cards, it mentions the following:
Small signal bandwidth (–3 dB)......1.7 MHz
This is an analog filter and the cut-off can not be changed using software. If you would like some control over the bandwidth I would suggest you look at the DSA boards. These provide a digital anti-aliasing filter that has a variable cut-off based on the sampling rate you provide the board.

Hi,
I am trying to do some data aquisition with the NI 6259 BNC box. I found the cutoff frequency for the small signal bandwith, but i need to know a little more on the filter characteristics? ie, what kind of filter is it, what is its attenuation/octave??
Any help or direction to where to find this information will be of great help.

Is the chart on page 2 of the manual linked previously what you're looking for?
