What value I should set for Maximum/Minimum value when I select AO Voltage (PXI-4461)?

I wanted to output a sine waveform with +/-5Vp by using PXI-4461. What is a maximum/minimum value I should set when I using  DAQmx Create Channel (AO-Voltage-Basic).vi? I should set some value higher than +/- 5Vp or just same as +/-5Vp?

 

the help file point me to Input limits but I am not sure the concept is still the same.

 

please advise.

I would go +-10V just to have some margin.  +- 5V is cutting it close, and if you are pulling any load on the pins you would probably have some problems.

You always want to allow for some offset and noise.  Go with the +/-10V range.
