Which hp34970a function should I use to read and use agilent channels?

I need to import voltages into my LabVIEW program. I'm using the Agilient 34970A with the USB/GPIB. I've installed all of the needed drivers and libraries. The function pallette gives me many hp34970a functions to choose. Which one do I choose. I have voltage measurements on the Agilent channels 101, 102, and 103. I need to display the voltages on the front panel, and I need to use the voltage as a number to use in a math equation. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Howdy Jim,

Looking through the instrument driver, it looks like the EZ Voltage.vi is what you want. Right-click on the block diagram to bring up the Functions palette. Then click the Search button and type EZ Voltage to locate the VI.

For more information, you might reference the following DeveloperZone article: How to Use an Instrument Driver in LabVIEW. Additionally, this KnowledgeBase article contains useful info, too.

I hope this helps!
