Why can't I measure an analog voltage with my PCI 6036E DAQ and CB68LB bds?

Testing my DAQ board analog input 1, by using the Acquire Cont. VI results in either no display or +10V when I apply 0-5Vdc. I installed the 6036E board before installing v6.1 software. I had v5.1 before but didn't launch v5.1 software.

Can you see the board in MAX(Measurement and Automation Explorer)? If not check device manager to see if it is there.
If you can see it in MAX try the same experiment using the test panels. They are a nice way to test your daq device quickly without having to worry about your code.

Good Luck

Hello;

The first thing you need to make sure is if the DAQ device is showing and working properly in Measurement and Automation Explorer. Open MAX and run first the test resources application, then the test panel one.

If everything is fine there, try to acquire data, in test panel, from the same channel you are having problems in Labview.
