I have a server running windows 2003, using a 2 slot pci-x card to connect to two pxi racks. In one of those racks I have a pxi-6711 card and I cannot see it with MAX. All of the other cards in the pxi rack I am able to self test and reset using MAX.
I've tried reseating the card and cycling power on the pxi rack and the server, but with no luck.
Thanks for posting! Unfortunately, NI-DAQ is not officially supported on Windows 2003 Server, so there are no guarantees that your device will be properly detected. That being said, I have a couple questions for you.
1. Is the card recognized by Windows (in Device Manager)? 2. What version of DAQmx do you have? 3. Have you tried the 6711 in different slots/chassis?
The following link provides a list of the latest DAQ drivers that are supported for various DAQ cards.
