Why does DirSelectPopup not work with recent WinXP update ?

Following a recent update of Windows XP we found that programs compiled with CVI6.0 or 8.0 could hang-up at the NI function "DirSelectPopup"

Is there a work around, patch, or fix for this?

Hi Steve,

One thing to try would be upgrading to the newest CVI runtime engine, which can be found here:

http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1196/lang/en

If this does not fix the problem, does it change the behavior at all?  Hope this helps!
