Why is the NI-6703 not a usable device in Ni-DAqmx

I am getting errors combining traditional Ni-daq with Ni-DAQMX. I am using 2 E-series multifunction boards, a 6703 analog output board & a 6253 digital board. The analog board & digital boards are not acceptable devices on ni-daqmx? WHY?

That is because only certain boards (mainly E Series and SCXI) are currently supported under NI-DAQmx 7.0. In future versions of the driver, support for more boards will be added.
