Windows 10 on CDAQ-9133

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

We currently have a CompactDAQ Controller Model CDAQ-9133 running Windows Embedded Standard 7. I was wondering that if we were to install Windows 10 on the system that Windows would discover the hardware and install drivers automatically or if there is a list of drivers we should install? I'm not entirely familiar with the CDAQ platform as our Engineering department uses it much more than we (IT) do. Any help is much appreciated!

I don't think you could just upgrade them to win10, they may not work at all. They use Win7 embedded which is a special edition for embedded systems. I could not find much about available upgrades for cDAQ, it would be best to reach out to NI support for more help.

Only works with Windows 7 Embedded! SP1 is the latest!

But you can develop your programs on a Windows 10 machine using LabVIEW version no later than 2020 SP1! Anything later won’t work!
