Windows 2000 to Windows XP

For several years we have been running our software on Widnows 2000, which has run well.  Now, we are looking to go to Windows XP.  As a test, I installed our software on Windows XP, everything seemed to work just as it does in Windows 2000, but the voltage that is read on one of the channels reads almost exactly half of what is reads when the software is run on Windows 2000.  Do I need to upgrade to the lastest version of NI-DAQ?  Is there anyting I should have done before going to XP?  I ahve tried other DAQ cards but get the same results.

Software used to develop application:

LabWindows CVI 6.0

TestStand 2.01

Ni-DAQ 7.1

Windows XP SP2

NI-CARDS used in application:

PCI-6014E (this is the card the the votlage readings are coming in on.

PCI-DIO-96

Any help that can be preovided is appreciated.

Thanks for contacting NI.  The OS certainly has nothing to do with which OS is being used.  I am curious whether you have tried reading the voltage using a test panel in MAX, or only using your application.  If not, I would certainly recommend doing that.  It is possible that if your application is using a task stored in MAX that this task is not configured the same way on your Windows XP system as it was in the Windows 2000 system.  If you are using Traditional NI-DAQ, right-click on the board under Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) Devices, and go to "Test Panels."  Try reading the voltage from here. 

Also, try connecting the signal to different channels and read those using a test panel.  This will tell us whether or not the problem is with a particular channel.  If you're still getting an incorrect reading, try to read the signal using a DMM for comparison.

As a side note, I would make sure that you have the same versions of the driver on each computer.
