I am trying to generate a simple alternating current. I am running Labview 8.5.1 with a NI-PXI-6704. I am using a SCB-68 board that states it supports 670X devices. I also tried different boars (TBX-68T and CB-68LP) and have received the same error. I tried switcing cords and received the same error. I have a feeling there is something wrong with my PXI-6704 circuit board. Please help.
Thanks
Craig

Hi Craig,
I understand that you are having some trouble getting your PXI-6704 to work properly in LabVIEW. I would like to ask a few questions which may be helpful in figuring out the cause of this error. First, I would like to know what driver software and version you are using (DAQmx or Traditional DAQ). Also, can you open a test panel in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) and if not, does it return the same error? For the -200020 error you are receiving, is there any text that accompanies the error (if so, what does it say)? Finally, have you tried this device in any other systems/slots and did this device ever work before now? If the device used to work, what has changed since that time?
Hopefully some of these answers will help provide a clue as to what may be the cause of the error. I look forward to hearing back from you soon!
Regards,
