analog input offset USB 6009

Solved!

Aaron,

I am using Labview, I could ceratinly take care of the offset in the program, but I am concerned about the noise. AI0 is set as differential, and rest as RSE.  If I configure my input as differential, I do not need to ground the inputs as mentioned in the NI tutorial? Please advise.

Thanks,

DS

DS -

If you have channel AI0 set as differential then there should be no need to provide a reference ground to your inputs. I am guessing you see your 0.3 mV offset when you have AI0 configured for a differential signal and have no reference resistor to ground, is this correct? Overall, if you have your device configured for differential mode just connect the device without the reference to ground. The USB-6009 Manual provides a diagram for connecting your differential signal on page 17.
