Hi Eric,
Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with Simulink and I do not have the software to try to reproduce this. Can you confirm that the software is compatible with both of the drivers and that the code is in fact calling the DAQmx driver? It might be worth updating the Traditional DAQ driver as well.
