average program in c with nidaqmx

i have a pci-6031e on a mandrake 10.1 machine with nidaqmx drivers. i want to average data from 14 channels in C. what's the best way to accomplish this? i can't seem to find any documentation on how to write programs in C for this card on a linux box. it's all labwindows/cvi...? is there documentation on a function library somewhere that will help me access my 6031e directly?

Thanks,
Edward

I see that you are using the PCI-6031e on Mandrake 10.1.  Is you question how to acquire the data or how to average the channels? What programming environement are you using?
Are you programming with the DAQmx Linux driver? Version 8.0 of the DAQmx driver for Linux, has the C examples located in

/usr/local/natinst/nidaqmx/examples/ansi_c

Also with the installtion there is the NI-DAQmx C Reference Help.html - this help file is complete function reference for the DAQmx C API

There is more information in the driver readme file if you want more clarification.
