build application

When I try to build an application, I get the project with my vi listed. I right click on Build Specification and only one choice comes up "Source Distribution". I cannot find the "Application" choice. When I continue with the pop up and finish it, I never have an .exe. I do not know how to make an executabe.

If you don't have New>Application listed, then you don't have the app builder. If you select Help>About LabVIEW, it will display the type of LabVIEW you have. The app builder comes with the professional version or you can buy it separately.

p.s. Posts like this belong in the LabVIEW board and not Multifunction DAQ.
