I need to be able to meet a requirement for DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) for my company and am hoping to gather some additional information related to the cDAQ NI-9185 User Configuration in Non-Volatile Memory. Is it possible to find out what exact type of "Flash" memory it is? Example: Is it EEPROM, EPROM, Flash EPROM, etc) because the procedure for what qualifies as sanitization differs between the various types. Is there any way to also understand the process this device goes through when the procedure is followed to sanitize the User Configuration Flash in regards to how exactly the device restores that information to factory settings? Example: Does it just overwrite with original values, does it write zeros or ones over the existing data before it restores factory defaults?
