Hi,
I 'm using NI USB9162 DAQ instument. I'm using Ch0 to read my analog signal which can vary from around 1 hz to 1.5hz (heart rate pulses).
Which is best to find frequency of this signal?
I have tried known options but in vain? Any inputs/ideas/codes ?
Thanks,
ABM

ABM,
Exactly what known options have you tried? What problems have you had with those options?
Frequency measurements on low frequency signals are more difficult unless you want to wait a long time to get an answer. Often is it better to measure the period and then calculate the frequency as the reciprocal of the period.
Are you measuring ECG, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, or something else to get the heart rate pulses?

ABM,
Also please see our Biomedical Starter Kit on NI Labs here: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-12646
There are tools for file format conversion, biosignal processing, and some mini-apps for logging and processing ECG signals.
Support for the Biomedical Starter Kit is mostly through our biomedical group at ni.com/biomedusers
