Did you mean:

calibrating the 6034E

the manual suggests self-calibration as well as an external method.

but it's rather sparse on details.

is there a document somewhere that describes this process in more detail?

thanks,

additional info:

these 6034E's are old cards that have been around a few years.    they are being used in Visual Basic 6.0 applications (with CWAI objects) on Windows 98 machines.

We do not have LabView or CVI on these machines.   all that is on these machines is NI-DAQ version 6.7.

thanks again

This link will give you guidance on performing Self calibration on your DAQ card.
You could also download the required version of Traditional NI DAQ device drivers from the same page

rjohnson,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments.  If you go the product page for our devices and select resources and then manuals you will see a link to the calibration procedure.  This will step you through the procedure for E Series cards.  Hope this helps.

thanks for your help

my problem is with two machine that each have a 6034E, and each are runnign Win98.

on one machine we have Measurement & Automation (MAX) version 2.1.3.14   This does not seem to have a self-calibration option.

the other machine has Measurement & Automation version 3.0.2, and I did find the self-calibration option.

i cant seem to find our software for Windows 98 machines that would upgrade the version 2.1 to 3.0.  all i can find is our software for Windows XP, that are used with different machines entirely

any idea where i can find MAX 3.0 for Win98?   we may have it on our network, but im not recognizing it.

thanks

rjohnson,

Based on this table you can see what version of the DAQ driver you can install on your respective OS.  This includes latest version of MAX possible for that OS.  So all you have to do is upgrade the driver to get it.
