can 6704 AO channel sink current

We intend to use a 6704 static Analog output card to test our product's analog input port.  But the port is pulled up to 5V voltage source through a resistor(about 1k ohm) inside the product.  So if I set a 2.5V output from 6704 to our product, there must be a  (5-2.5)/1k = 2.5mA current sinked to 6704 AO channel. if 0.5V is set, the sink current is (5-0.5)/1K=4.5mA.   But from the 6704 specification, I didn't find any information on how big sink current can 6704 withstand.  Or, NI doesn't suggest to use 6704 this way?    But it is very general that  a product under test has  pulled up input ports, how NI suggest to test them?

By the way, the 5V voltage source is used to provide the current source to the analog sensor, when the sensor is connected to this input port in application.
