can anyone tell me what the error message 10012 means?

i get this message in my DAQ Application. i have a circular buffer, that i fill from a file and write on a PIO E 1. i get this message (10012) in the AO WRITE. The problem is, that i get a loss of data sometimes, especially when i go to another application on my desktop. (windows nt 4.0) i'll attach the programm wich makes the problem.
