cdaq-9191 with 9239 module

I have a problem with my new wireless chassis at initial turn on. The cdaq-9191 with 9239 module is installed and working, Max shows everything ok, but, when everything is turned off then back on, the 9239 module shows disconnected in MAX (red x), if I do a self test or reset on the 9191, then it shows as connected and works, it won't come back otherwise.  I should not have to do this every time, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Hi obliv44-

Actually, your system is working as designed for a lost connection case (which is what powering down either the PC and/or chassis would cause).  Please see my post here for more information.  As you have found, Device Reset or Self Test on the chassis will recover normal operation, so I would advise inserting at least one of the two before using any DAQmx operations on the module, just to ensure that the chassis is accessible and ready for communication.
