configure stepper motor with MAX

Hi,
After wiring VI, I don't know what must I do to control my stepper motor?
Can anyone give general information what must to do.
How to configure stepper motor with MAX? I'm using PCI6036E.

The answer to your question is dependent on your motor/motor controller and the inputs that it needs. Are you using a stepper motor controller? The PCI-6036E probably won't be able to supply enough current to power your motor (max 5mA) by itself, so you will probably need a stepper motor controller. With the 6036E, you do have 2 analog outputs, 8 digital I/O, and 2 counters (can be used for pulse train generation). Have you considered an NI Motion Control Board? ni.com/motion

You're right.The 6036E can't supply enough current.
Now,I try to make electrical circuit connection to add the current.

I am having the same problem. I have a NI PCI 6025 E DAQ Card, a stepper motor drive board, a opto-isolator circuit and a labview program with no errors. I still can't move the stepper. Should I use Max Atumation?

In order to know how to answer your question, you must provide more information about your particular device.
1) Who makes your stepper motor?
2) Who makes the drive board?
3) What input signals does it need?
4) What type of inputs are they?
5) What is your LabVIEW program doing?
6) What version of LabVIEW do you have?
7) Has your LabVIEW program ever worked?
