connectivity with daqpad6015

I am trying to interface the DAQpad with an Inficon Deposition Controller.  The Inficon unit sends out a DC signal between 0-10V.  On an oscilliscope I see that the Inficon is outputting an appropriate siganl, however, when I connect the Inficon to the DAQpad with a BNC cable and connect the DAQpad to the computer with a USB cable, then use NI-DAQmx Assistant VI in Labview, the test panle gives a signal which appears to be noise oscillating around -7.92V.

Why is the signal from the Inficon being seen with the oscilliscope but not the DAQpad?

Hi JLacis,

The DAQPad-6015 BNC can be configured to read in either a single ended or differential mode. Make sure that you are selecting the appropriate setting for your measurement. You can reference the E Series User Manual that I have linked. I would direct your attention to page A-13, it addresses the Analog Input connections to the DAQPad-6015 BNC.
