Hi,

It's depend if your pump has a flow control system...

Every peristaltic pump i used have a on/off control only. I controlled the start/stop activation from a SCXI power realy module...

If your pump has flow control system, it is probably a PWM(Pulse width modulation) signal. You can generate that kind of signal using a DAQ board with counter output...

Hope this help.

Hi Ramon,

What kind of control signal does your peristaltic pump require?  Is it expecting a voltage signal or does it use a communications protocol such as serial to receive commands for a controller at the pump itself?  There are a number of devices that can be controlled within LabVIEW that could be used to generate voltage signals for your pump.  If it uses a communications protocol like serial, there are also functions within LabVIEW that allow you to communicate in this manner.
