Hi reggie,
I have been running your code and without highlighted execution I get the 4.3 seconds AI reading, using the settings you sent in the previous document.
Are you changing anything else?
Also just as a reminder, if this is happening when you have the highlight execution tool ON, then it is expected for it to slow down the measurement, since it greatly reduces the speed at which the VI runs.

Even when I have it off highlighted execution it takes about a minute to get through AI reading to where I do not get any data. I have tried restarting the computer and unplugging the DAQ system but that does not work either.

Hi reggie2016,
Have you tried to run an AI task in NI-MAX and check if you are getting data correctly?
This Knowledge Base article shows how to create a task
How Do I Create a Task In MAX with Multiple Analog Measurement Types?

Yes I have tried it but it gets stuck at one spot every time. Should I uninstall labview and reinstall it?

Hi reggie2016,
What do you mean that it gets stuck at one spot every time? Are you doing that in NI-MAX?
You could attach pictures of what you are looking at.
I would not go right away to reinstall LabVIEW. If it is an issue with installation, I would start first trying to repair the driver (DAQmx).
But I am not sure what is it that you are doing, so I would not jump right away to that.

Where the green arrow is in the picture, it stays there for a minute reading something like there is a wait timer on or something. I do not have a wait timer on so it should run through the program without any delays. would uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them be a good idea?

Hi reggie2016,
I can see in the picture you attached that you are running it in Highlighted execution. Does it also stays there if you turn it off?
And in MAX you can configure the tasks to read as you have it in LabVIEW.

I finally got it to work. It was as simple as creating a new TDMS file to save the data to. Thank you for all your help!

I am glad to hear that you got it working!
