email max configurations

This morning I emailed a vi to a friend. The vi had DAQmx Global Channels and DAQmx Tasknames and these did not go with the emailed vi. We are wondering if there is a way to send the needed MAX information in an email so that the receiver does not have to enter the board connections manually into his/her Max program.

Open MAX and go to File>Export. You can choose the file type. then your friend will have to use File>Import.

Having to import/export from MAX is one of the reasons I don't use MAX to create and save tasks. It's all done in the code.
