exe version 8.2.1 doesn't match file 8.2

Hi.

I instaled the NI-DAQmx 8.7.1 in windows XP that came with NI USB-6259 device and was using Labview Signal express to control de device. Then, I installed Labview 8.2 and the problems began. Now I cannot open Labview Signal express or launch the device using Labview 8.2 because the following error message is displayes:  "Executable version (8.2.1) doen't match resource file (8.2). Check your configuration"

Could you tell me what to do to be able to control the device from Labview and open Labview Signal express?

Hi Spolit,

            While I understand that you are using 8.2.1 rather than 7.1.1, I think that you could benefit from this Knowledge Base Article.  It explains that you should try repairing your run-time engine.  Please let me know if that doesn't work.  Thanks!

I already tried fixing the Labview Run-Time Engine, but the error continues. Thanks for your help, but if you find out something else, please let me know.

          I haven't found a solution yet- but I'm curious,  what verison of Signal Express are you using?  Thanks in advance- I'll let you know what I find out!

Hi Sebastian,

        I believe that re-installing DAQmx should solve your problem. Installing application software (LabVIEW) after installing drivers is generally discouraged and may be what's caused the problem.  If re-installing DAQmx doesn't fix the issue, let me know.  Thanks!
