how amplify output current a PCI board

Hello,

I use Analog output of NI PCI 6259. I want to drive a ttransformator which it need 3 Ampere. I know output current PCI 6259 is limited in milliampere.

Would you please tell me how can I drive transformator which need 3 Ampere?

You need a buffer amplifier.

Will you need additional voltage amplification?

DC or only AC? Frequency range?

Power supply?
