You could always call your local NI sales representative, they can advise you.

Hello a1234,

I would recommend going to the Data Acquisiton (DAQ) Hardware product page.  It is a great resource to parse through all the device according to your specifications and find the right board.

You have identified that you need 600kS/s on 4 Analog Input channels with a 16 bit ADC.  Does each channel need to be able to sample at that rate, or is that rate shared by all the channels?

Our M-Series (62XX) and E-Series boards (60XX) only have one timing engine along with one ADC.  If the board can sample at 600kS/s and 4 channels are going to be used, then each channel has an effective sampling rate of 150kS/s (600kS/s divided by 4) Our S-Series (61XX) boards have multiple ADC on board, one for each channel.  So if an S-Series has a sampling rate of 600kS/s, then each channel can sample at that rate.

On all of the DAQ boards (M, S & E series), the master clock (80MHz) can only be divided down by integer values only.  However the maximum sampling rate is dependent upon the ADC.

80MHz / 133 = 601kHz

80MHz / 134 = 597kHz

I would suggest a PCI-6133, PCI-6132 or PCI-6120.
