import microVolt pressure transducer data into labview

I am planning to use a pressure transducer from WPI (http://www.wpiinc.com/index.php/vmchk/BLPR2.html). The sensitivity of this transducer is given as 5 microV/V/mm Hg. The company has an amplifier (cost $1800) that can be used with this transducer to amplify the output signal. However, I am wondering if I can directly collect the data from the transducer using LabView. Do I have to use an amplifier or does NI have an amplifier that I can use to collect my pressure data from the transducer.

thanks

Looks like every bridge amplifier could do the job, HOWEVER  IF you want to use this sensor on humans you should carefully check the medical security standards !

No, I am not using this on humans. I am using it in an experimental testing of skin tissue to monitor my pressure.

Does NI have an amplifier that I can use?

Hello Maverick269,

I assume you need a bridge amplifier?

NI 9219 is a universal 24 bit cDAQ module that I think will work for your purposes. You will also need to buy a chassis for it, and then you can control it with a USB connection.
