is it ok to use an shc68-c68-s to connect two 7813R's

Hi All,

I have an application where I have two PXI-7813R's in different PXI-1042 chassis.

We have been using an SHC68-C68-S to jumper the two chassis together in order to pass some timing links.

Although it is a little late, does anyone know of any reason why I shouldn't use this cable to make this link?

Hey zAep,

I can't think of any reason why you couldn't connect your PXI cards with a SHC68-C-68-S cable. Is everything working well since you hooke up your system this way?

Hi Doug,

Yes it has been working fine to date and I was considering using the cable to connect to some custom hardware that I'm thinking about developing.

As I couldn't find any information indicating that the cable was equivalent to the SHC68-68-RDIO except for the different ends, I wanted to make certain that there wasn't something that I'd missed - such as cable impedances, wire tabs etc.
