I just got a PCI-6120 to work with. I've installed on my machine and it seem it is being detected by the OS fine. (However the "tail" end of the card, i.e. the narrower part of the PCB opposite to the 68 pin connector) feels rather hot (not hot enough to burn my hand though).
I'm wondering if this is normal, or if there might be something wrong with the card.
I would appreciate if anyone out there could tell me if it is normal for the card to run hot like this.
Thank you in advance.

Hello NIphyseter,
That part of the card will have large capacitors and RF parts that do tend to produce excessive heat. So I wouldn't worry about it.
I would however worry about damaging the card with static if you are not using special gloves! Please be careful when handling electrical and electronic devices or PCBs, as it might actually be harmful to yourself too.
I hope that this helps,
Kind Regards,
