ni-daq usb 6008 lsdaq linux liblvrtdark not found

Hi,

We have installed the nidaqmx base 3.2.0 on opensuse 10.3 for the ni usb-6008. However when running lsdaq we get the following error:

Found the following DAQ Devices:

/etc/natinst/nidaqmxbase/bin/daqmxbase_listdevices: error while loading shared libraries: liblvrtdark.so.8.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

We have looked into /usr/local/lib and there is a file liblvrtdark.so.8.0 but we don't know what to do next.

Thank you for posting on the NI Forums. I think this may have be an issue because of the version of LabVIEW that you are using with the DAQmx Base driver. Since you can find the liblvrtdark.so.8.0 I would guess that you are using LabVIEW 8.0 is this correct? If this is the case the 3.2 version of the DAQmx Base Driver only has support for LabVIEW 8.6, 8.5, and 8.2. If you are using LabVIEW 8.0 with the USB-6008 you will have to use the DAQmx Base v3.1 driver which does support LabVIEW 8.0. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.
