ni-daqmx base crashes

I have LabVIEW code which I wrote to utilize the USB-6009.  LabVIEW 7.1, and Nidaqmx base 2.0.  It all worked perfectly on a G4 Powerbook.  I moved everything to a newer Intel based Macbook.  LabVIEW works fine until I installed Nidaqmx base.  At this point everything crashes or freezes and the only solution is to remove both LabVIEW and Nidaqmx base and reinstall LabVIEW.  I have tried a few different versions of Nidaqmx base, I have reinstalled the proper firmware in the 6009.  Nothing has worked.  Each time I have installed Nidaqmx base it causes LabVIEW to crash.

It seems that LabVIEW 7.1 was developed to work on the power pc chip architecture as was the version of DAQmx Base you are referring too.  Please check out the following knowledgebase article about getting National Instruments Data Acquisition working on an intel Mac.
