how to choose nominal input range of Single Board RIO?

what is the importance from change it ,for example change nominal input range from ±5 to ±2

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. Is there a chance you could include some additional information?

 - What model Single Board RIO are you using?

 - What are you measuring with the DIO?

 - Where are you setting the nominal input range (LabVIEW, MAX, etc.)?
