part number cross reference

is there a way on ni.com to cross reference 77... kit part numbers with 18... board part numbers.

I see that NI has for all of their items has a 777 or 778 part number. However, almost all of the circuit cards I have seen or owned, none of them have these humbers. They have 17... or 18... numbers.

Is there a way to enter a 18... and get the 77... equivalent part number, or vice versa?

Hello reichenbach,

I know that part numbers do change based off of specific revisions, but I haven't really seen what you are talking about.  One sure way to figure out what your device is would be to use the  Instrument Certificate Generator.  This will allow you to view the calibration certificate based off of the serial number for your card (which is the number under the barcode).  The certificate tells you when your card was calibrated, as well as what card it is.  I hope this helps.

Have a great weekend,

This does actually help. Its not exactly everything that I want, but it will help.

What NI should do is expand this page to include ALL part numbers: http://sine.ni.com/nipartslist/app/pages/dashboard.xhtml

Hello reichenbach,

You are correct and I would recommend submitting this to our Product Suggestion Center.

Have a nice day,
