I have PCI-6070E (PCI-MIO-16E-1) in an old computer, which works fine. Since we moved it to a newer computer and install the driver, computer does not recognize it. We do not know what could cause it?
Also we intend to buy a new DAQ card to replace PCI-6070E with same cable and connector, is there any suggestion for a new DAQ card?
Thanks

Hi Liming,
A suggestion for a direct replacement of your 6070E would be the PCI-6251 that uses our DAQmx drivers.
When you say the computer does not recognize it, do you mean Windows or Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX)? If possible, can you go into Windows Device Manager and see if you can see the PCI card there?

In windows device manager, I can see a PCI device with yellow warning sign on it. And I try to update driver, not success.
In Measurement and automation, I also can see PCI-MIO-16E-1 with a red cross on it.

Hi,
If you are in Measurment and Automation Explorer and expand the Software tab do you happen to see NI-DAQmx? There should be three entries for this driver, if it is installed what version numbers follow?
A follow up question would be what brand of motherboard exists in the new computer?
