program does not respond when prompt to save a file

I have a program that controls two air flow pumps and records data from a humidity sensor, a balance, and an LVDT.  The program was running fine until we had a power outtage in the lab.  Since then, whenever I run the program and I get prompted to save the data file, the computer crashes and it says "you have chosen a non_responsive program" and the only way out is to restart the pc.  Could anyone give me a suggestion on how to fix this problem?  All electrical components  (sensors and balance) are working fine when not running with the labview program.

Thanks!

Hello,

A few questions:

Does the error message occur only when you are prompted to save? Meaning, does the program successfully monitor your sensors up until you attempt to write to file?

Where are you running this program. Is this on an embedded RT controller or is this on your PC. If on your PC, was there anything else that was affected after your power outage?

In what format are you saving data? Is this a bit file, excel file, .tdm?

These considerations may help us find a resolution to your issue.

Cheers,

Emilie
