questions about usb 6211 specifications

Hello all,

Sorry if my question is trivial, but where can I find the meaning of the terms given in the “External Digital Triggers” paragraph of the following document?:

https://www.ni.com/docs/fr-FR/bundle/usb-6211-specs/page/specs.html#GUID-3BE9C001-6DC4-4DD8-B50E-5F8...

For example, I don't understand the difference between “Start TRigger”, “Pause Trigger” or “Pause Trigger”.

Or the meaning of "Gate, Source, HW_Arm, Aux, A, B, Z, Up_Down" ?

i am interested in triggering digital output with PFI source, i guess it is not possible, perhaps the solution will be to replace digital output with analog output.

Thans in advance for help,

Gerard

PS: i posted another related question

Honestly, I would say that's rather poor documentation about several counter-related functional signals, most of which shouldn't really be under the heading of "triggers".

<time passes>.   Thinking about it more, the *real* problem is just the heading.  What the table really shows is the way that PFI terminals can be used for different types of DAQ IO tasks.  All those various counter-related functions *can* be served by PFI terminals, they just aren't all triggers.

I responded to your linked thread as well.

ALERT! LabVIEW's subscription-only policy came to an end (finally!). Unfortunately, pricing favors the captured and committed over new adopters -- so tread carefully.
