Hello
I have this problem with generating signals using the DAQ, and I appreciate any help in solving it
I just got this NI USB-6009 DAQ card; I was trying to generate an output signal
Whenever I try to use NI LabView or LabView Signal Express to generate an output analog signal, I get an error in the DAQ Assistant screen, following is the error:
"
DAQ Assistant Error
Details:
Error -200077 occurred at DAQ Assistant
Possible Reasons:
Measurement Requested value is not a supported value for this property.
Property: SampTimingType
You Have Requested: Sample Clock
You Can Select: On Demand
"
I just chose the following options in the DAQ Assistant screen:
Channel Settings: VoltageOut
Timing settings: N samples (or Continuous Samples)
Test Signal Type: Sine Wave
Physical Channel: AO1
I tried to check the Measurement and Automation Explorer, in the Test Panels screen, Analog Output Tab... I found that the Rate, Transfer Mechanism, Frequency, and Stop options are disabled.
In the self-test (from MAX), the device passed the self-test
I use Windows Vista
I attached some print screens
So, how to fix this problem? I need to use this USB card as a function generator, so I need to be able to generate signals using this card!
any help...
Thanks alot
Abdallah
