"The device is not responding to the first IRQ level"

I have a NI DAQCard-516, I'm running Windows XP, and my NI DAQ is version 6.9.3f3. Whenever I try to Test Resources in the card properties or run a Test Panel in MAX I get this error. With the Test Panel I can continue to run it anyway and get one channel of input, but none of the other software interfaces to the device are working correctly.

Any ideas on how to resolve this error (or any additional information I'd need to provide to make an answer possible)?

Thanks.

Re: "The device is not responding to the first IRQ level"

Hi Kyle,

Older PCMCIA cards sometimes can have IRQ failures when run under Windows 2000 or XP. The KnowledgeBase article, PC Card (PCMCIA) Devices Can Exhibit Interrupt Failures on Windows 2000 and XP, details why this happens and some possible solutions. Since your DAQCard requires NI-DAQ 6.9.3 I recommend installing the NI-VISA 3.2 runtime engine as a possible fix. Please let me know if you have any questions and take care.

Thanks,
