route trigger to another task

My users want to see

1) when we're waiting for the trigger

2) when the trigger occurs

3) when the task is complete

Normally you cannot assign a channel to multiple tasks.  However, can you route the trigger source to another task so you can read that channel to determine the trigger?

Have you tried DAQmx Export Signals? This may be the functionality that you are looking for.
