signal express evaluation version 2.5 i dont find the "DAQmx" acquire option

                         Dear sirs,

           I  have downloaded the labview signal express 2.5  evaluation version.  Under the “add step ” button , in the “acquire signals ” option ,

           I   don’t  get the” DAQmx  acquire“ option. Will it be available only after the installation of DAQmx driver software? Can I  work without the DAQ

         hardware and driver software and still use the DAQmx acquire signal. An urgent reply would help me.

Hi Sathya,

You are correct.  You will need to download the DAQmx driver to be able to use DAQ function calls in your Signal Express.  You can download the DAQmx driver for free.  You do not actually need to have a device to test out your Signal Express code.  You can simulate a device and use it to test out your programs.
