synchronisation with pps

Hello,

I have the NI-6251 PCI measurement card and LabVIEW.

Now I'm trying to synchronize the card with the pps (pulse per second)-signal of a GPS-receiver. I use the DAQmx-Timing property-node to input my pps-signal to the PLL of the card. But now I get the error, that RefClk.Rate could only be 10.0e6 or 20.0e6.

Is it not possible to synchronize my card this way with my GPS? Are there any other possibilities?

National Instruments recommends the NI 6608 for a GPS-Based Synchronization.

There is also another way to do it with M series devices (see attachments), but we don’t recommended that method.
