the DAQ installation stalled due to uninstalltion of the driver

I cannot install the DAQ 6009 due to the message "NI trace 3.0 (higher version) already installed". 

When I go to the measurement explorer-- device and interface--NI usb 6009-- test panels---- the test panel for your device couldnot be found on the lacal machine. Pleaase ensure that the drivers for your device are installed on your local machine.

So for this what I have to do to get out of the misery .Please kindly help

NI Trace is just one piece we install with DAQmx. Please let us know what version of DAQmx you are attempting to install (and consider using the newest version https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-daq-mx.html which may be older than another piece of software you just installed (hence there being a "newer" version of NI Trace on the system).

Do you get this message when you install DAQmx? Could you take some screenshots of the error screen?

Test panels would only be installed if the DAQmx driver was able to install correctly.

Let us know and I'm sure we can find a way around this error message.
