unable to find DAQmx on distribution

I attempted to build an application using LV8.0 and incorporating DAQmx as I have often done.   This time, however, I get a 'distribution missing' prompt indicating that the installer source for N_-DAQmx 8.0 cannot be located.   This is despite inserting the correct CDs (distribution November '05) when prompted to do do.

I have removed and reinstalled labview but the problem persists.

I would appreciate any ideas.

This seems like a reasonably common problem so there is a Knowledge-Base article on our website regarding the ‘distribution missing’ prompt:
