usb daq not detected

Hello,

I have some issues recently with my USB 6008 DAQ. The DAQ is not detected anymore on windows.

It seems windows doesn't notice at all when I connect it.

I have checked:

- On the device manager there is no any exclamation point.

- I tried with a little sofware from microsoft: USB viewer to connect it and really nothing is detected.

- I have also tried on another computer, same results, no detection...

-The LED is not blinking as it used to but behind the port, the multimeter measures a voltage of 1500mV.

-The DAQmx drivers and DAQ drivers are up-to-date.

-The NI Device Loader, Configuration Manager, PXI Resource Manager and Service Locator are all set to automatic in services.msc

I am currently using LabVIEW 2009 on WIndows 7 (32-bit).

Would you have an idea where the problem could come from?

I am having a similar problem - in "devices & interfaces: measurement and automation explorer" there is no option for NI-DAQmx devices (it looks like it is not being detected), and in LabView Signal Express for DAQ (2.5.1), it is saying that no supported devices are found when I try to enter an analog signal.

I have a USB 6008 and have plugged in an amemometer for wind measurement.

- I am running windows 7 (x64)

- All drivers seem up to date

- my USB light is flashing on/off at a steady pace on the DAQ device

- I see the data acquisition device in device manager

Forgive me if I am a newbie, but what is wrong?  Any idea?
