Hi
Im looking for a setup to perform IV measurements of current sources such as photodiodes, batteries etc.
By loading the source more and more the current will decrese until opencircuit is achieved.
This could be done with an voltage output working as the load. In series with the load a shunt resistor is connected and current is measured as the voltage drop over the resistor.
I would like to know if there are any voltage outputs that can take a current of 10 Amps at 0 load, which is when 0 volts is applied.
The load would then apply up to ~5 V, where the opencircuit is achieved (0 Amps).
The resistance of the load should be as small as possible at 0 V.
Any ideas of products that would suit this application is appriciated, especially the load.
thanks
Jalle
