Hi,
I have a Labview application running on my laptop and it acquires data from a UWB receiver to measure distance from transmitter via USB. There are 3 zones safe, warning and Danger . according to the distance between them like the stack light tower(predominantly Red, Yellow and Green) used in Industries for status monitoring. Now I would like to transmit the control signal to a real light tower(I dont have it yet but could be 30VDC) from my computer.
Which hardware should I use for this? Is a Bus powered DAQ suitable for outputting signals or a RIO device?

I would think you would want digital outputs, one each for each light in the tower.
The USB-6525 has SSR digital outputs rated up to 60VDC at 500mA.
