why do I get error 10609 in AI control when I run MAX

I have a PCI6033E, I had 24 virtual chanels (diff.). Recently I installed a new virtual channel. When I test all the channels with MAX, I get this error message "error 10609 in AI control". When I run labView, no errors are reported, however, the reading of the last installed channel is incorrect.

Double check where you connected the NEW channel.

In differential mode, two single ended inputs are combined to create the diff channel. The pairing of channels (makes sense) but is not obvious at first glance.

You may have configured the new input using part of an existing channel.

Also make sure you stop all DAQ before trying to test in MAX.
